Apple Launches the Affordable iPhone 16E with USB-C and Face ID
Apple has kicked off 2025 with the launch of the iPhone 16e, an affordable addition to the iPhone 16 series with A18 chip, Apple Intelligence, and more. Priced at $599, this model brings modern upgrades while streamlining features from previous versions.
A Familiar Yet Refined Design
Positioned as the successor to the iPhone SE, the iPhone 16e is built on the iPhone 14’s design. It features a traditional notch housing Face ID sensors, deviating from the Dynamic Island seen in premium models.
Display and Performance
Apple has fully transitioned to OLED screens, and the 16e boasts a 6.1-inch OLED display. However, it sticks to a 60Hz refresh rate, which may disappoint users accustomed to smoother displays.

A Major Step for Apple’s Modems
